Challenge
How do you ensure that users not only use your credit card portal, but also enjoy using it regularly? The aim was to find a balance between important topics such as security and services and an inspiring world of benefits with shopping discounts and travel benefits.
Solution
We developed a portal that feels personal, secure and familiar - like “arriving home”. The focus is on an inviting world of benefits that inspires users time and time again. The experience is complemented by a personal dashboard, a regularly updated digital magazine and plenty of space for important service and security features.
Your credit card. Your world of benefits.
Just like your own credit card, your online presence must also feel personal. Secure. Familiar. However, in order to attract users to the website on a regular basis, the added value character of the portal had to be emphasized. The challenge during the design phase was therefore to strike the right balance between important topics such as online legitimation procedures or services and the creation of a separate world of benefits through the savings bank credit card with shopping discounts and travel benefits.
The result is a portal that feels like a mixture of “arriving home” and “having a birthday” - with an inspiring and personal benefits world at the heart of the platform, a regularly updated digital magazine, a personal dashboard - and yet with enough space for services and security features.
One portal - many interfaces
The biggest technical and conceptual challenge was to create a login area in which the corresponding individual added value and services for the card product are displayed for each savings bank customer according to a complex criteria matrix. In addition, the TYPO3 portal is very “networked” in the background, i.e. it is connected to third-party systems via several interfaces.
The technology behind it
The website, which is very extensive overall, has a complex interface for importing product data from the internal system and not only automatically imports the products themselves, but also takes product configurators, filters, etc. into account. For the extensions and adaptations we created, we worked our way into the existing system and developed it further. We created the microsites for the product lines using the existing NEOS installation. We created the 3D scroll animation of the carbon sink by inserting individual frames from 3D renderings, which are exchanged by scrolling and thus give the impression of an interactive video.
