KAGERER, a leading importer of seafood and delicatessen, needed a modern platform that digitally communicates the freshness and quality of its products while significantly simplifying the ordering process for its customers.

Solution

We developed a new, user-friendly online shop with a “Quick Shopping” tool that enables the creation of individual shopping lists and automatic product searches. This meant that previous, often cumbersome ordering processes were bundled and digitized. The result is a platform that is not only functional, but also emotionally appealing and adequately presents the variety and quality of KAGERER products.

Easy shopping with the Quick Shopping Tool

Before the relaunch of the KAGERER shop, orders were received via a wide variety of channels - as a phone call, as an email or as a handwritten-and-then-photographed-difficult-to-read shopping list. The main feature of the new shop is a “Quick Shopping” tool, which allows you to create individual shopping lists directly on the website and even includes an automatic search function for the listed products. Customers with an existing product range can also easily repeat their orders here. With this tool, we bundle previous purchasing processes into the shop, offer a clear added value and simplify the flow for both customers and KAGERER itself.
 

The overall package of the shop not only feels “fresh”, but also clear and simple, but at the same time emotional and inspiring. In addition to the classic product categories, visitors to the platform can be inspired by the type of cuisine and KAGERER's own brands.

Much more than just a standard shop

Technically, we worked a lot with Shopware's shopping worlds and massively expanded the standard functions, so that the shop doesn't feel like a classic shop, but remains an experience in itself. What was particularly exciting was the technical implementation of the conceptually sophisticated Quick Shop with integrated search function and repeat orders.
